Things people ask before buying.
Does it work with my bank?
Any bank that lets you download transactions as a CSV file, which is almost all of them. It recognises the formats from RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, Tangerine, Wealthsimple, Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Capital One, and lets you match columns yourself for anything else.
Do I need to be good with spreadsheets?
No. You fill in five cells and paste a file. Everything else is already built.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes, for checking your dashboard and ticking off your Weekly Reset in the free Google Sheets app. The first setup and CSV paste are easiest on a computer.
I use Excel, not Google Sheets.
You get an Excel version too. Everything works except the one-click import: you paste date, description and amount into the Transactions tab yourself.
Google says the app isn't verified. Is that safe?
That warning appears for any personal script in a sheet. Ours only sorts transactions inside your own copy and sends nothing anywhere. You can read every line of it under Extensions › Apps Script.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep it. Each December you get the next year's edition free.
Can my partner and I use it together?
Yes. Share your copy with them in Google Sheets. The Complete edition adds a Couples tab for splitting shared costs fairly.
What if I'm paid irregularly?
